Tour Plan
Day 1: Arrival in Leh (11,500 ft)
Arrive at Kushok Bakula Airport, Leh, and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is for acclimatization to the high altitude. In the evening, visit Leh Market, Leh Palace, and Shanti Stupa for a beautiful sunset view. Overnight stay at Leh.
Day 2: Leh – Sham Valley Excursion
After breakfast, enjoy a day trip to Sham Valley. Visit Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, and the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers at Nimmu. Return to Leh by evening. Overnight stay at Leh.
Day 3: Leh – Nubra Valley via Khardung La (Approx. 120 km / 5 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass (17,582 ft) — one of the world’s highest motorable roads. On arrival, visit Diskit Monastery and enjoy a camel ride on the Hunder Sand Dunes. Overnight stay at Nubra Valley.
Day 4: Nubra Valley – Pangong Lake (Approx. 150 km / 6 hrs)
After breakfast, drive towards the mesmerizing Pangong Lake, located at an altitude of 14,000 ft. Marvel at the lake’s changing colors and surrounding mountains. Spend the evening by the lake. Overnight stay in Pangong (camp or cottage).
Day 5: Pangong – Leh (Approx. 160 km / 6 hrs)
After breakfast, drive back to Leh via Chang La Pass (17,688 ft). En route, visit Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace. Check into your hotel and relax. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Leh.
Day 6: Monasteries & Local Exploration
After breakfast, explore Hemis Monastery, one of the largest and richest in Ladakh. Later, visit Stok Palace Museum and local markets for souvenirs like pashmina shawls and prayer wheels. Overnight stay at Leh.
Day 7: Departure from Leh
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Leh Airport for your onward journey with unforgettable memories of Mystic Ladakh.
