Tour Plan
Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati
Arrive at Guwahati Airport and meet our representative. Transfer to your hotel and relax. In the evening, visit the Kamakhya Temple, one of India’s most revered Shakti Peethas. Later, enjoy a peaceful sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra River. Overnight stay at Guwahati.
Day 2: Guwahati – Kaziranga National Park (Approx. 5 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the famous one-horned rhinoceros. Check in to your jungle resort and spend the evening at leisure, surrounded by nature’s calm. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
Day 3: Kaziranga – Jungle Safari
Early morning, embark on an elephant safari in the central range of Kaziranga to spot rhinos, wild elephants, and exotic birds. After breakfast, go for a jeep safari in another zone of the park. Evening free for cultural programs or leisure walks. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
Day 4: Kaziranga – Majuli Island (Approx. 4 hrs + Ferry Ride)
After breakfast, drive to Neemati Ghat and take a scenic ferry ride to Majuli Island, the world’s largest river island. Explore traditional Assamese villages, ancient Satras (Vaishnavite monasteries), and enjoy folk dance performances by local tribes. Overnight stay at Majuli.
Day 5: Majuli – Guwahati
After breakfast, return to Guwahati. On the way, visit local tea gardens and enjoy the lush greenery of Assam’s countryside. Check in at your hotel and relax. Evening free for shopping at local markets. Overnight stay at Guwahati.
Day 6: Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Guwahati Airport for your onward journey with the serene memories of Assam.
